Sustainable Business Practices

What sustainable practices does your business have that lead the sustainability movement in the foodservice industry? Please provide examples (i.e. strong producer responsibility, relevant partnerships, specific business practices) within the different aspects below.

Taking into consideration that "environmental impacts from supply chains are often severe" (UN Global Compact), how would you describe the initiatives undertaken by your business to promote greater environmental responsibility in areas such as sourcing, production, storage, and transportation, among others?

The end-of-life of a product is important to its sustainability. Are you aware of the final destination(s) of your products (e.g. reused, repurposed, compost, recycling, landfill)?

Confirmation & Additional Comments

Following receipt of your application, you will receive an invoice for a non-refundable $50 application fee. Your application will then be sent to our Advisory Board for review. Additional information may be requested at this time, including documents for verification. Only those specific products approved will be eligible to use the LEAF Approved Supplier logo. If approved, a $200 (small business) or $500 (National/large business) yearly fee is due to participate in the program.
